Scratch needs Android 6.0 or later.Ive seen this to be incorrect- I cannot download scratch on my android 8.1 phone. Thanks in advance. The "Remix" button in the Scratch 3.0 editor. It’s probably because the Scratch offline editor is only for laptops and desktops, and for tablets and phones I think it’s Scratch Jr.Scratch does have an app for Android. Sorry for the long post, I'm just really upset right now. b) can I delete a sprite while the app is in this state? I highly doubt it, but it's worth an ask. So my questions are these: a) is there any way to salvage my work, or at least part of it? I thought of screenshotting my code so I don't have to work it all out again, but I can't switch sprites to see it. Everything I've worked on, all the effort I went to, making this text editor, all wasted due to a stupid mistake and a lack of saving. My cursor switches to the “loading” icon. It's supposed to refresh the screen once it's done, but a forever loop is never done. It's trying to run a forever loop without refreshing the screen - something that takes an indefinite amount of time, trying to run inside zero frames. As soon as I clicked the block to run it, I knew what was going to happen, but there was nothing I could do to stop it. But, after discovering that this does nothing different, I decided to put the forever loop in there with it, rather than outside. I did this by making a new sprite with a script that looked like this: forever go to x: (pick random (1) to (100)) y: (pick random (1) to (100)) end I noticed that this made a pretty neat effect, so I thought, “hey, what if I make this instant?” I figured my first course of action was to make a custom block, called “do a thing”, and run it without screen refresh, and put the “go to” inside it, and throw it inside the forever loop. ![]() I was trying to make a text editor with pen, and I wanted to know if “clear” only applied to the sprite, or the whole canvas (turns out, it's the latter). 100, Flash 27.0 (release 0) So this isn't technically a bug or glitch but I'm not sure where else to post it.
